Reconciliation

The peace of both mind and soul which comes to us from reconciliation is a certainty that our sins have been forgiven. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us all from unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available at St. Charles on Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and any time upon request.

Reconciliation Services

This is a communal service where we gather in church to reflect on our sinfulness and, more importantly, on the love and mercy of God for us. The opportunity for individual reconciliation with one of several priests will be part of this prayer service. Families are welcome and encouraged to participate in these services

First Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a liturgical celebration of God’s forgiveness of sins, through which we, as sinners, are reconciled with both God and the Church community. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is normally received for the first time prior to First Eucharist. The 2nd graders of our parish prepare for First Reconciliation during the first half of the school year, either in their class at St. Charles school, their CCD class or through an approved home school program.
